An interactive workshop for doulas, birth workers & perinatal support professionals.

Soma Landing | Prince George, BC

Join me for an afternoon of learning, hands-on skill-building, and meaningful connection, designed to deepen your understanding of breastfeeding and strengthen your confidence in supporting families.

What We’ll Explore:

Prenatal Preparation: Helping families establish realistic expectations and prepare for breastfeeding.

Understanding the Newborn: Primitive neonatal reflexes, instinctive feeding behaviours, and early feeding physiology.

Latch & Positioning: Understanding latch mechanics, with a special emphasis on laid-back breastfeeding and practical skill-building.

Common Challenges: Recognizing feeding difficulties, offering appropriate support, and knowing when to refer.

Pumping & Bottle Feeding: Supporting milk expression and responsive bottle feeding.

Throughout the afternoon, we’ll make space for questions, shared experiences, and collaborative learning.

Who Is This For?

Doulas, birth workers, perinatal professionals, and community support workers who support families during pregnancy and the early postpartum period.

All experience levels are welcome, including participants from surrounding communities.
