Build Your Village
A guided evening for expectant parents
Feel clear, supported, and connected as you prepare for birth and postpartum.
Pregnancy can be filled with anticipation…
and also a quiet sense of uncertainty.
There can be so much information, so many opinions, and often an underlying question of…
Who do I actually go to? When do I reach out? And how does all of this fit together?
This evening was created to offer clarity.
Not more information, but rather orientation.
A chance to meet the practitioners who support families in our community, and to begin understanding how that support can come together around you.
Build Your Village is a calm, guided evening where you will:
Meet a curated group of local perinatal practitioners
Understand who to reach out to, and when
Learn how support can evolve from pregnancy into postpartum
Feel more prepared, connected, and supported
This evening is for:
Expectant parents (especially in the 2nd–3rd trimester)
Partners or support people
Anyone wanting to feel more prepared for postpartum
You’re welcome to attend on your own or with someone.
The evening will include:
A warm welcome and orientation
Short introductions from each practitioner
A guided “Village Pathway” walkthrough
Time for informal connection and questions
You’ll hear from practitioners supporting families in:
Midwifery
Birth doula care
Postpartum doula support
Infant feeding (IBCLC)
Physiotherapy
Chiropractic care
Naturopathic medicine
Counselling
Support is often sought in moments of urgency.
But it doesn’t have to be.
When families understand what support is available to them ahead of time, they can move into birth and postpartum feeling more grounded, more resourced, and less alone.
This evening is about helping you begin to build that foundation.
